Sweater weather tag 2013.
So i decided i'd jump on the bandwagon and do the sweater weather tag as i've seen it floating around for a while and personally i like more tag posts (having a nosey).
1.Favourite candle scent? I like anything that smells of christmas or christmassy butrecently i've been getting into the desert smells which normally i don't like, but my favourite at the moment is Christmas Cookie by Yankee Candle.
2.Coffee, tea or hot chocolate? Hot chocolate is definitely my favourite and i often grab one at college and when i'm out just because it warms me up and is quite festive, i have green tea every morning to wake me up but other than that i don't have tea unless someone else is making it and coffee i have to be in the mood for and i only really have coffee if i have alot of work to do or if i'm having a busy day but i rarely grab a coffee out.
3.Best fall memory? I can't think of a specific memory but i'd probably just say opening presents and spending time with the family.
4.Which make up trend do you prefer dark lips or winged eyeliner? On me i prefer dark lips but only because i can't do eyeliner but on other people i really like winged eyeliner.
5.Best fragrance for fall? I've been loving the Intimately Beckham by Victoria Beckham which is a quite musky scent and to me it suits winter.
6.Favourite christmas food? I'm going to say turkey just because we don't have turkey all year round and also because i'm much more of a white meat person.
7.What is autumn weather like where you live? It's very chilly because it's by the sea and we don't often get snow which is sad but mainly it's cold and windy.
8.Most worn sweater? Probably a stripy one i got from New Look.
9.Must have nail polish this fall? A nice chocolate brown one from Revlon in 903 Hot for chocolate, which is very autumnal. I have been looking for the perfect red nail polish but i haven't found any so if you have any suggestions let me know.
10.Football game or jumping in leafs? I'm going to say jumping in leafs but i know i probably wouldn't do either.
11.Skinny jeans or leggings? In the past i would of said leggings but now i'm going to say skinny jeans jusgt because they keep me warmer than leggings.
12.Combat boots or uggs? I'm going to say uggs but i much prefer chelsea boots.
13.Is pumpkin spice worth the hype? I haven't tried the starbucks yet but i don't really like the smell of pumpkin spice so i'm going to say no.
14.Favourite fall TV show? I was looking forward to the only way is essexmas so i'd probably say the reality shows christmas specials like the made in chelsea christmas special and i also like watching the soaps on christmas day.
15.What song gets you in the fall spirit? My favourite christmas song is merry christmas everyone and i have also been loving Leona Lewis's christmas album.
That was my sweater weather tag i hope you enjoyed it,

November favourites 2013.
Here is my November favourites, a little late but better late than never.
My first product is a nail polish which I'm pleased about because I got in a rut with painting my nails but I've finally broken free and I'm back to painting my nails. This nail polish is 903 Hot for Chocolate by Revlon. It's a brown/black colour and it did last me 3/4 days with only a few minour chips which was good./My second product is another nail polish which has the autumnal vibes with it's brown/purple colouring and its from Rimmel this time, it's from the 60 seconds range and it's in 600 deliciously dark./In November i indulged into highlighters and this highlighter powder is the shimmer kiss bronzer by MUA in the shade shimmer kiss it has the most gorgeous colours and is only £3/4 which i thought was really good and i do actually use it as part of my everday make up it's become an essential./I've never been someone who's botherd with foundation brushes, i didn't see the hype until i purchased my very own from wilkinson i didn't bother buying expensive ones for testing them out.But i love them i use one for my foundation/concealor and another for my cream highlighter./Another autumn/winter prodcut i picked up is an MUA lipstick in shade 1 which is a redish/berry colour and it's great apart from the fact it doesn't really last that long so it requires a few touch ups daily./Another nail polish this time which is by nails inc from Kate Spade in Soho Silver which is a gorgeous silver colour i got this as a sample in GLAMOUR MAGAZINE the December issue./I picked up some wilkinsons lip balms because they had 3 for 2 on and they were only £1 each so it wasn't bad. I got the Fruity red berry flavour which leaves a redish tint behind and smells amazing, also i got the Fruity citrus flavour which smells nice and doesn't tint which is good and it'll probably be my most used out of all of them just because the red one is tinted, the final one i got is Sweet vanilla and honey flavour which i really don't like the smell of it's so sweet but maybe i'll use it in the future./I picked up the Lumiere eye shadow pallete which has some of the most amazing colours but the shadows are very chalky so i don't think i'll use it on a daily bases./I've also been using the Just colour sleek shine balm which i love, it smells amazing, it works amazing on my hair as well, so it's win win all round./My next product is my favourite product of the month which is the MUA MATTE lipstick in Totally nude, i actually love it, it's the nicest colour and lasts ages, i have no complants./I also picked up another product from Sanctuary which is the Instant hydrating toner, which has worked so well for my skin, my skin feels better and it hasn't broke me out at all and again it smells so nice./My favourite perfume of the month has been Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift it smells so nice, a fruity but dusky smell and i have had a few complements when wearing it./My final product is another highlighter product this time from Body Collection and it's their panstick highlighter mines in the shade 5 and again it's become part of my everday make up. That was my November favourites i hope you enjoyed and have a good December. Claire x

Review Simple.
The soap and moisturiser/the moisturiser/the soap.
So i've been using the Simple products for a good few months now (3 months), and i honestly love them. They haven't broken me out at all, and i feel have improved my skin, it's also helped get rid of my dry skin. They are still going strong and are not nearly finished, i've got a lot left. So they've definitely lasted longer than i thought they would. They were well worth the money i think they were £2/£3 the soap was 99p. I don't like the smell of the soap but it is fragrance free, i don't mind the smell of the moisturiser. I would definitely repurchase these products and i will be purchasing more from simple.
Overall i would definitely recommend these products and the brand.

Review Collection 2000 shine away compact powder.
Collection 2000 shine away powder DEEP 3.
So i know it's been absolutely ages since i last blogged but the only reason i have is i have been super busy with college. I have also decided to stop doing my week in photos because i feel i don't have any interesting pictures because I'm at college four days a week which means i don't take many photos, maybe when it comes to the summer holidays I'll start again but for now i just feel like they're not that interesting.
So i decided to do a review on the Collection 2000 shine away compact powder because i hit the pan and repurchased. I do really like this powder but i feel in some ways it's to dark for my skin tone, it does take the shine away, but it doesn't last all day which did disappoint me. I love the packaging it's dead compact and i like the pattern on the packaging but as you can see from my old one it does rub off.
But overall i would definitely rate this product well and i would definitely recommend it to anyone, it did last me a while considering i used it nearly every day for four months. So i would recommend it to you but advice that maybe one top up is needed a day just so it lasts.

Simple.
Both products i brought/The soap/The moisturiser.
So guys, you may be unaware but i suffer with psoriasis, which means finding products that don't effect my skin can be hard. But I've had a few recommendations of my mum and some friends to try Simple products because they contain no added fragrances or added colour. So with the hope they will not agitate my skin, i decided to purchase a couple of their products a few days ago. I have been using these products ever since, but it's definitely not been long enough to review them, so in a couple of months I'll review them for you. I purchased the Simple pure soap for sensitive skin (because psoriasis makes my skin extremely sensitive as well) with no added perfume and no added colour. It was only 99p for a two pack in Home Bargains. I also got Simple kind to skin replenishing rich moisturiser (psoriasis also makes my skin really really dry) with vitamin goodness and 12 hours moisturisation, again with no added fragrance or colour. Which was only £1.99 from Home Bargains. So far i do like these products but it's far to soon for a proper review, but i will do one in the next month or so.Claire x

Review Spa wipes.
I have never been the kind of girl who faffed around with cleansers and toners, of course I took my make up off but just with water. I then got into cleansers and toners but often forgot to or avoided it (still taking my make up of with water) just because it was such a long process at the end of a long day. But about two years ago I came across Spa wipes and I absolutely love them. I have tried many of their different wipes and I do have a few favourites but these two are the two i have been re-purchasing for the past six months. A added bonus is they don't break me out. I highly recommend them to anyone.
I have to go careful with products i use on my skin (face especially) and i usually tend to avoid anything fragranced but the cucumber facial cleansing wipes only have an extract of cucumber so they are not fully fragranced which means they don't effect my skin and cause me to break out. The wipe itself is also soft and gentle on my skin which means it leaves no aggravation behind after use. I don't really use the facial cleansing wipes to take make up off, sometimes just to freshen up my face after exfoliating but mainly just to keep in my handbag.
The Spa exfoliating wipes is the one i use the most every morning and every night, they claim to cleanse , tone and moisturise which is exactly what they do. They have an exfoliating side on one side and a more softer side on the other, to reach any excess make up the exfoliating didn't get off. They are so handy and so compact and they really do what they claim to do. An added bonus is how cheap they are it is £1 for two packets or 59p each, so you may as well by two. They are only stocked in Home bargains as far i know (that's the only place I've ever seen them) but i'll keep you updated with them when i try different flavours.

Review beauty uk high brow kit.
The packaging/Inside.
So I've had my beauty UK kit for a few months now and i haven't not used it once. I love it. It's great.
As you can see you get three colours and one wax. (The wax is indented because my finger indented it). I use the brown on the bottom left because i have brown hair. Obviously there are colours to suit all hair colours so the lighter ashy brown is for blonde's. (I use this on my eyelids occasionally just to make me look more awake, but naturally it is a great natural coloured eyeshadow). The black colour is of course for people with black hair. I haven't found a purpose for the black colour but maybe it would be useful for a smoky eyed look. Again i haven't yet used the wax but it does contain a wax. As well as the three colours and a wax it also comes with tweezers and a double ended brush, one end meant for wax the other for the shadow. Overall i really love this product and would definitely recommend it, it is a lot less harsh than a pencil (which i used to use occasionally before this kit). It's was also so inexpensive at £3.99 from super drug where beauty UK is stocked. As far as I'm aware this kit only comes in one colour which is this colour. I would definitely recommend investing in this.

Review the Primark palette.
So a few weeks ago i was telling you about my Primark palette and I've decided it's time for a review. As you can see there's eight shadows, two matte and six glitter pigmented. I have used all the colours and i must say i prefer the glitter pigmented to the matte just because i feel the matte takes many applications before it shows. The shadows are all very natural colours and i feel could be pulled off on a day to day bases. I do use the matte shadows much more just because they're not to much colour wise which the glitter could be depending on how much you use. I do rate the colour choice highly because they are colours you could wear for any occasion whether that be work/college/school or meeting with friends etc.
For £2.50 that's absolutely nothing for the quality you get. The only problem with quality i have is the gold spots on the outside of the packaging rub off and the palette can end up looking quite tacky. But it does look really chic and stylish to start with and it's really compact so you could take it in your bag if you really wanted to. The palette also comes with an applicator with a brush one end and an eyeshadow sponge applicator the other. There is also a mirror on the opposing side of the shadows which is always useful. I often use the mirror as my main mirror to get ready with because again it's dead compact.
So for £2.50 i would definitely recommend this palette, it's definitely worth it and is full of quality and the fact it's from Primark, i don't think you'd know if you didn't see the name on the lid.
That was just a quick review my first ever review to date and I'll definitely do more in the future.
Claire x
