My new shirt.

So i've been on the browse for the perfect patterned shirt for such a long time. I didn't want it to be too colourful or too in your face. But the one i found (images above) is perfect. It was so inexpensive at just £2.50 from a charity shop. It's oversized and will look perfect with skinny jeans/leather trousers/tartan trousers. The pattern is just beautiful and the fact that it's a navy blue and white means it will go with anything. I can't wait to start putting looks together with this shirt. I know this was a dead short blog post but i couldn't contain my excitment about the shirt so i had to tell you.

Haul.

So it's a few weeks into the holidays and of course holidays means more time to shop, so that is exactly what i've been doing. As you can see i haven't put any images of clothes in this haul just because i haven't brought that many clothing items only the odd piece here and there nothing that exciting apart from my boucle jacket from new look (i already blogged about that). There's a few cosmetics along with hair products and a few books plus a cd and dvd.
So i'll start with books i've always been a bit of a book worm but struggle to get into new books that are not part of a volume. The first book i purchased in the holidays was "The host" by Stephenie Meyer i brought this mainly because she's the author of the Twilight collection and i am such a fan of the Twilight books and films the other reason was because i haven't seen the film and i like to read a book then watch the film then re-read the book once i've watched the film so that's my plan with the host. So far i haven't got that far into the book i'm only on chapter 2 and i'm not really enjoying it, but i'll continue to read on and give the book a chance.
The other books i brought are part of a collection and they are "The devil wears prada" and "Revenge wears prada" by Lauren Weisberger. I brought the first one "The devil wears prada" after a friend recommended it at college then i saw the second one for sale in Tesco for only £2.95 and i thought i was going to buy the follow up to the first one some day so why not buy it on sale. I only brought the first one last week so i'm only on chapter 2 but i'm loving it so far. I personally feel this collection is the perfect holiday read and they'll definitely be in my suitcase/hand luggage when i go away.
My next purchase is possibly my most exciting purchase (for me anyway). Anyone who knows or who reads my blog will know i absolutely love Twilight and i've put off buying the final dvd for a while because it starts out quite expensive then as time goes by the price reduces so that's what i was waiting for, i was happy to wait and get it for my birthday but i saw it on sale in my local Morrisons for £7 i couldn't resist, and i am now the proud owner of the complete Twilight collection in books and dvds.
My newest purchase which i only brought today is "#3" by The Script i have always been a massive fan of The Script but for some reason i hadn't already purchased their new album but i spotted it today in my local That's Entertainment store for £3.99 and again i new i had to get it and since i've brought it home it's been on constant repeat i love it.
Moving on to more beauty related products today i brought Rimmel London's "eyeful" "eye glistener/crayon scintillant" in 700 FLAUNT. So since i've only brought it today i haven't had time to test it but it's a really gorgeous golden colour and i know i'll make loads of use out of it because gold suits any season.
Another Rimmel London product but this time it's nail polish. I'm a bit of a nail polish junkie and i barely ever go out without nail polish on so i have to keep stocked up, but for some time i've been looking for the perfect grey/green colour and i think i've finally found it with the Rimmel London lycra pro professional finish in 520 CAMOUFLAGE CHIC it's pefect with the perfect green/grey tinge.
Since it's summer i require a tan and i can never get one naturally, the only shade i go is lobster shade so i invested in the VIE summer time skin tan. I'm unaware of the shade because it doesn't say but it gives the perfect tan within a lotion so as well as getting a good tan my skin is also getting nourished. I don't find the smell that appealing although i did at first i've just sort of gone of it now, but it is a good tan that only takes about an hour to show. I'd definitely recommend it, it was about £2ish from Home Bargains.
My next product has become my life saver, i was never really into dry shampoo until my friend recommended it and with the hot weather i find my hair doesn't always look in peek condition between washes so i picked up the "Dry Shampoo" in FESTIVAL from Home Bargains i can't remember the exact price but i don't think it was expensive and it does keep my hair in better condition between washes and has quite a nice smell.
Keeping with hair products i've been on the look out for the perfect conditioner since my favourite one ran out and has since been discontinued so i've been purchasing a few to try and test. The first one i purchased was Simple's kind to hair gentle care conditioner and i  personally don't feel it really worked for my hair it just didn't make a difference to my hair and it's such a shame because i'm a huge fan of simple's products.
The next conditioner i brought was the Garnier FRUCTIS fortifying shampoo and conditioner which i brought by accident because i only want a conditioner but it does smell amazing and if they sell separate conditioners i will definitely be buying one to give it a try.
The final hair product i've brought is again a conditioner but this time by Schwarzkopf. Now this conditioner is great for the first day after i wash my hair and then it starts to make my hair look greasy. This never happens with any other conditioner so i assume it has to be the conditioner i wash my hair every other day but i don't feel comfortable with this conditioner but maybe i'll try it again another time.
I'm back to beauty products but this time lip products (my favourite), i've recently purchase three of the Bourjois rouge hi-tech liptints and i have fallen in love they are such good quality and last quite a while plus the colours are gorgeous. Mine are in 88-Neo caramel, 84-Rose pixel and 87-Praline digital. They are perfect and the colour doesn't dry out and make your lips look horribly half stained.
My next product is just a re-purchase of the Wilko FRUITY BERRY instant hand sanitiser, it's perfect size, perfect smell, perfect everything.
Then another re-purchase just of the einstein lip therapy. This is honestly my go to lip product for when i have sore or chapped lips it's great.
My next purchases are very exciting for me because i've always been a bag person and they are both bags the first bag is the brown one in the picture that was such a bargain and i couldn't walk away without it. It was unbelievability only 99p from a charity shop. It has one shoulder strap and then one small wrist strap but it's the perfect summer/anytime bag. Inside it has to seprate compartments and one side zip pocket but i'm so pleased i brought it and i know i'll make loads of use from it.
The next bag i brought was the red one, i brought it mainly for the detailing on the bag itself. I'm not so keen on the straps but they'll do. Again the bag was from a charity shop for a bargain price of £3. It has one small zip pocket on the inside then a much bigger zip pocket on the outside on the bag. It was so reasonable and again i know i'll make loads of use from it.
I know that was a long post but there was so many things i wanted to share with you. Hope you enjoyed it.

Reforming my love with new look again.

So for such a long time i haven't been in new look, you could say i fell out o love with it. For a while i just couldn't find anything that was my style or something i could see myself in. But everything changed a couple of days ago after i'd been round town and not brought anything i was ready to give up and go home but decided i'd pop into new look since it had been so long since i'd last been in there. There wasn't anything that immediately caught my eye so i ventured to the sale rack and noticed this blue boucle jacket and thought it was perfect for summer because it's not to thick but not to thin and it's not to serious. So i knew that i had to have this jacket in my life it was only £11 on sale which i don't think is to bad because i know i'll get loads of use out of it. It is several sizes bigger than my normal size but that makes it good for layering or the baggy efffect. I'm unaware if it's still in new look but it's definitely a worth while purchase. So because of this jacket my love with new look has been reformed and i will be venturing into new look more often.
