What's in my clutch.

My clutch.
Inside the clutch.
Everything inside the clutch.
I hardly ever go out really (i mean nights out i don't stay captive in my house 24/7 i just hardly go on nights out) so i've rinsed the fact that i did. As i can't tell you every single detail from the night i thought i'd share with you what essentials i took with me. You may recognize the clutch, that's because i've previously done a what's in my bag tag on this bag before in the summer (but a daytime version). So as you can tell the bag is versatile you can either have it as a bag with a long strap or have it as a clutch. As my outfit was all black i thought this would add a mix up (although the bag itself is black) i mean the texture and pattern plus studs too. What was in my clutch: /Phone-An obvious necessity really. /Purse-Again an obvious one. /Beyonce heat perfume-My favourite perfume at the moment. /Blush brush-Just to touch up (Although i didn't because i was to busy having fun.) /Kleenex shine absorbing sheets (powder free)-Just incase my make up ran or started to get oily (But again they were unused because i was just too busy.) /Technic compact powder foundation in DARK-Again for a touch up. /Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in 600 SOFT CORAL-My lippy of choice that night (which was used to touch up with.) /Finally keys-Obviously to get in with but i actually lost them for a good two days afterwards and then found them in my college bag. I hope you enjoyed that small insight into my night out, Claire x Twitter@claire_spiers Instagram@_clairespiers

Review: Calivn Klein red red.

Red Red on.
Red Red on again.
The lid.
Front.
Back.
For a while i've been looking for the perfect red nail polish and now i believe i've found it in the shape and form of Calvin Klein red red nail polish from the splendid colors range. This polish is divine on and in the bottle, personally i feel two coats is enough but you could go three, for me one doesn't give enough coverage. The colour red red is the perfect red like, post box red. The packaging is simple but classy, very easy to take around with you if you need to. This is my second time of wearing this polish and i must say it chipped much more than the first time and even sooner (chipped on the second day of application). But that can be prevented with a clear coat of nail polish over the top next time. So apart from that i think it's perfect and i do believe i've found my perfect red nail polish. Claire x

What's in my college bag tag.

For a while i've been meaning to do the what's in my college bag tag and now it's finally here. Firstly my bag is just a brown/tan satchel from Topshop but i got it at steals for a bargain price of £9 when i think the original is/was somewhere between £30/£40, so i really can't complain. The long stap is slowly coming away from the bag but it's pretty hard wearing and i can't really complain with all the stuff i cram in it. I really need to downsize my college bag (that could be a new years resolution). The bag itself has one zip pocket on the inside which i put nothing in, one phone pouch inside which i put my post it notes in to stop them getting wrecked, it also has a small pouch on the outside but under the cover which i use to keep my keys, phone, tissues and college badge in. Now onto what's in the main part: -Olympic London notebook by teNeues. -Paracetamol. -Tiger print ruler from Blackpool Zoo. -Watercolour paint. -Pencil case. -2 Sanctuary lip balms. -Primark lip stain pen. -Inks. -Magic tape. -Nivea pearl and beauty roll on deodorant. -Wilko fruity berry instant hand sanitiser. -Phone. -Headphones. -charger. -Tissues. -2 library recipts. -Miscellaneous pens and pencils. -Glue stick. -Scissors. -Camera. -A spare beanie. (Which is green-it should probably be black to save any colour clash.) -Post it notes. -Umbrella. -Beyonce heat perfume. (Which i am absolutley loving.) -Keys. -Purse. -Memory stick. -Bottle of water. (Which isn't in the picture because i normally carry my water but i take a bottle every day.) So that's everything i take to college with me along with a sketchbook in a carry folder and along with many different folders. It really all depends on what day of the week it is to what i take with me. Claire x Twitter@claire_spiers Instagram@_clairespiers

Review Rimmel LASTING FINISH 1000 KISSES TRANSFERPROOF LIP TINT+ BALM.

I recently purchased Rimmel London's "LASTING FINISH 1000 KISSES TRANSFERPROOF LIP TINT + BALM". But i did not only get one i got two, which was a tad naughty but i couldn't resist. Firstly i got it in "140 Faithful Rose" (which is the pink one). The only way i can describe the colour is the packaging i would say that the colour is exactly the same as the colour on the packaging maybe a tone or two darker. I don't feel like the product comes out as well as it could, i also feel like the nib dries up quite quickly, so i often had to wipe it with a tissue and then it's ok. Thankfully it's only that one that does it and my other one is fine. The other one which is an orange shade (the orange one) is called "610 Boundless Sunset" personally i'm not really a fan of the colour, which suprises me because i thought i'd really like it, i just don't think it suits me unless i have some form of a tan. As i said before the product on this one alot better, there's alot of it and it doesn't really dry up like the other one. Overall i do like these "Rimmel LASTING FINISH 1000 KISSES TRANSFERPROOF LIP TINT + BALM" and they're dead simple to put on and you don't have to faf and i don't worry they've smudged or if they're all over my teeth like lipstick. Personally i prefer wearing them without the balm, in my opinion they look better, but that's just me. But one thing i will say when wearing the stain without the balm my lips become incredibly dry and sore. But it's handy to have the little balm at the end a little two-in-one. One amazing factor i find from these products is the smell they smell amazing all tropical and fruity, personally i prefer the smell of the orange one, but again thats just me. I would like to purchase more from this range so i'll keep you updated on that. I would definitely recommend them just for the hassle free factor. I'm going to do a post comparing them to a Primark lip stain i have so look out for that. Claire x Twitter@claire_spiers Instagram@_clairespiers

Review Andrew Barton THE FRIZZ TAMER.

So just before christmas i decided i'd try a hair mask, i had never tried one before and felt like my hair could do with a bit of uplifting because it seemed a bit dull and i didn't want it looking that way over the christmas period. Everybody raves about hair masks so i thought i'd get a Andrew Barton THE FRIZZ TAMER the tame it mask power dose, i decided to get this one because i know Andrew Barton is good for hair care products, and it didn't disappoint. For such a small amount (not a tub/average size) i got a hell of a lot of product which was cream formula and smelled of lemon, personally i didn't like the smell but it's not to strong so i would still use it despite the smell. Even after i washed the product out of my hair i could still smell it afterwards but strangely enough i didn't mind the smell so much afterwards. The result of using the product on my hair was really good, my hair didn't look so dull and generally looked in better condition. I'd definitely use this product again it worked wonders on my hair and i'm going to look out for a bigger version to purchase. I'd definitely recommend it. Claire x

Review Facial sheet mask in Green tea stem cell.

So just before christmas i decided i'd try the Facial sheet mask in Green tea stem cell because when i went to london earlier on in december i tried my first ever face mask, i don't have a reason for why i've never used one before i just have never tried it. I was worried that because of my sensitive skin it could effect it but thankfully it didn't, so i decided i'd try more out. I picked up the facial sheet mask a while ago but i had been cautious to use it but i decided i'd give it a go. It's not like your regular face mask that's in cream formula, this was an actual mask (as you can see in the picture), which some people might prefer but personally i didnt. I just didn't find that the mask itself sat well on my face there was alot of creases and the holes were quite uncomfortable, that's probably my only negative. Apart from that it was very refreshing it smells refreshing as well with a hint of a lemon scent. obviously before hand i had washed and dried my face but the mask removed any excess residue/make up. The mask itself was very greasy and oily obviously filled with a lot of product. But once you take the mask off after 20 minutes your face is covered in the product and you just have to let your skin absorb it by gently patting it. As i said it takes about 20 minutes so it's probably best to not do it if your in a rush and more when you have plenty of time to relax. It did work really well for my skin and my skin felt refreshed afterwards, it didn't effect my sensitive skin and also didn't break me out. It says for best results use once every four weeks i'm undecided if i'll get it again because i think there's better masks out there, so i'm going to test some more and keep you updated. Claire x

NOTD.

So i know it's been a long time, but i'm back. I've decided i'd do a nails of the day type of post which is something i've never done before partly because i got into a rut with painting my nails and secondly i'm not really that experimental when it comes to painting my nails. But i recently picked up a few diffrent nail polishes when i brought magazines, so i thought i'd test them and show you the result. The polishes i used are "ORLY lacquer in COUNTRY CLUB KHAKI 28302" which i used on all the fingers apart from the ring finger on both hands. It's a very muted, natural earthy pink which i think is the perfect colour for this time of year. Then i used "Kate Spade NEW YORK by nails inc in SOHO SILVER", which i used on the ring finger on both hands. This colour is very metalic, and the outcome is not glittery like i expected it's a proper silver but maybe a few tones darker than your average silver. I really liked the combination of these two colours together i think they bring out the colour in each other against each other. Also adding the silver just made it have a completly diffrent flavour. Personally i really liked the out come and they're a combination i'll be using again. I hope to do more posts like this in the future maybe even a few OOTD'S. Claire x
