Flapjacks.

The flapjacks.
My aim for this blog is to make it more lifestyle orriantated still sticking with the fashion and beauty, i just think i could encourprate more lifestyle into it and since i finsh college soon now is the perfect time to start. I rarely bake or cook (i'm no domestic goddess), i have to be in the mood to bake/cook but today i was in the mood, and i wanted to whip up something fairly healthy, obviously this could be made healthier (something i'll experiment more with in the future) but i decided i'd bake some flapjacks (the image of the flapjacks above looks more like a flapjack crumble), i'll list the how to do's, ingredients, measurements and utensils below: Ingredients: -200g butter (utterly butterly) -50g dark brown sugar (tatelyle fairtrade cane sugar unrefined demerara) -350ml golden syrup (silver spoon golden syrup) -400g rolled oats (mornflake superfast oats) -pinch of salt (morrisions table salt) .In brackets the products i used. .This made 12. Utensils: -Saucepan -Wooden spoon -Measuring spoons -Baking tray -Scales -Oven (180c) Method: 1- Melt butter, sugar and syrup together in a saucepan. 2- Add oats and salt and mix well together. 3- Even out into a grased tin and bake for 20-25 minutes. Top tip: Cut into pieces when mixture is still warm from the oven. Obviously you could add rasins or chocolate chips or whatever you prefer. I must tell you though they were delish. I've been loving all the food hype on blogs recently so this is definitely something i will continue with. I hope you liked this different kind of post.
